At a recentThe Rise of P Force Plus, Dr. Susan Greenberger and her team analyzed the efficacy of Priligy, a drug designed to improve sexual function in men and women. As part of the study, they tested it in a double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized, parallel-group study of a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, multicenter, phase 3 trial. In the study, which took place in San Francisco, California, the team compared three treatments of Priligy, which is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), with a placebo. The results showed that both treatments were equally effective in improving sexual activity.
One of the key findings of the study was that participants who took Priligy experienced improvements in overall sexual activity over the six months of treatment. They reported greater improvements for more than six months, even after six months of treatment. The findings were published inSexual Medicine, and the study team was excited to see how similar the results were. In addition, the researchers noted that the study was powered to detect statistically significant differences at a six-month level, based on data from the 12-week trial.
According to Dr. Greenberger, “We’re excited to see that the results are real. This is a significant advancement in the treatment of sexual dysfunction, and Priligy is a game changer. We believe that this is a significant step forward in the treatment of sexual dysfunction.”
Greenberger, “We have no data showing that this drug is effective at improving sexual dysfunction. It will be important for men and women to understand the benefits and risks of Priligy in the context of sexual medicine.”
